If somebodies child (ages 15-17) no longer fit in their own clothes, should the parents have to buy them new things?

Should the teen have to carry on wearing clothes that are too tight and uncomfortable until they can afford to buy them themselves or should the parents have to buy new things since they're still under 18?

I don't think its okay for a parent to allow their under age child go go with out clothes that fit them.

My child will always get more support no matter what honestly. If they need clothes, I'll buy them clothes. If they're hungry, I'll feed them. If they need a ride somewhere, I'll take them. My kids didn't ask to be born. Sheesh, I didn't ask to be born and I struggled sometimes with money 😅. I'm pretty grateful for my parents always helping me out. I mean, I'm not going to spoil my kids rotten to where they're not humble but I'm not going to let them do everything on their own. If they need help, they can rely on me no matter what. Even if they're legal and they're living in a new place, maybe even hours away, just one call... I will be on the next train or plane.

Your child is your responsibility until 18 ( legally ) it is negligent to not care for them financially by providing clothes. Now, this doesn't mean this child should have $100 pair of jeans or $75 bras. Cheap clothing can still look good, fit good, and last a long time.  
If my 15 year old didnt fit in her clothes, I would buy her new ones. If she wanted expensive clothes and refused to wear anything else, I would contribute money, but she would have to make up the difference by earning her own money. Life lessons.

If the child is under their care then yes they do. If the child is living with friends, emancipated, just simply out of parental control, they need to. If they feel at 15-17 they can live on their own they must provide for their own. As long as my child is under my roof and obeying my rules even after 18, I have NO issue buying her things she NEEDS. Clothes, food etc.

At my house it was always my parents bought the clothes until we got our own job...we usually got $100-120 for school clothes each year and then Christmas and birthdays, and occasionally my mom would by us something we liked or something she thought we might like. Once we had a job we had to buy our own school clothes. Since that’s how I grew up that’s how I feel it should be...parents buy the clothes until the kid has a job/money to buy them for themselves

if the child and thwir parents have an agreement that the child gets an amount of money regularly and buys their own stuf then he or she has to buy her own. if not then the parents should definitely buy them or at least pay for them.

I don’t even understand why this question needs to be asked? Any parent no matter the age of the child would buy them new clothes if they’re wearing clothing that is too small... I actually think it’s cruel to let it get to that point to be honest... my kids will always come first no matter their age. I created them I support them pretty simple..
