Weird "period" this month

I thought I started my "period" on the second but for 3 days it's been extremely light & spotty. I also thought maybe I had implementation bleeding a few days before that cause it was only when I wiped then nothing after 2 days. Then this "period" showed up. I tested today fmu..negative. I have some cramping but no blood or spotting. I'm totally confused. Should I retest in a few days? I think my body is playing tricks on me.
