How to get your 6/7 mo old to sleep?

my son can't take a nap unless I'm holding him and he also can't go to bed unless I feed and rock him to sleep. anyone else having this issue? he will be 7 months on the 15th.

you'll need to break those comforts. put him down to nap. let him cry for five minutes, go in,  comfort him,  put him back down. lather, rinse and repeat ad necessary.

Had the same problem with my daughter. She just turned 7 months a couple weeks ago and we finally bt the bullet and did gradual cio. Best decision we ever made hands down. I was so against cio but I was getting so tired of the short naps and rocking to sleep/holding that I did it for my sanity. My baby girl now sleeps so much better and is such a happier baby! At one point she was sleeping so bad she had bags under her eyes. That’s when I said enough and did cio. It was the best method for us all, as we tried no cry methods without progress before.
