How to break the news to your kid?

My daughter is 8. She was diagnosed with ADHD. She has never been told about this. We’re in the talks of meds with her Pedi. And well we need to tel she has ADHD.
How has anyone gone on about telling their kids they have ADHD?

I would probably just ask her if she knows why we've been going to the doctors. Then I'd explain to her what ADHD (in terms she'll understand) is and explain that it's not a bad thing but it is something we need to work on together. Just make sure you aren't making it sound like she's doing something wrong or that she's bad for having it. Tell her about the medication and that it will help her at school or at home or wherever she struggles. I'm kind of surprised she hasn't caught on considering she's been to the doctor.

I have ADHD I personally would just sit her down and tell her. Explain what it and what it means . Because it's not scary , its not that something is wrong with her it's just a thing some people have and some people don't
