Have you ever been cheated on? if yes are you working things out or did you break up with the cheating partner?

Im torn between breaking up with my partner or staying together. We have a 12 week old daughter together and as a women we hate to fail at love or break up a family because of your partners cheating ways. My fear of the unknown if ill find better or worse is part of why i haven't left him. Also i dont think i truly forgiven him and there for im stick in the past so i cant really move forward but i know im worth more. Has anyone been in this situation?

I wouldn't break up my family on one time. If it ever happened again or if it was a full blown affair? I'd probably have to go through a lot of counseling with him to not leave. Idk

I've been with mine for seven years and he cheated a few times. I loved him so much so I stayed. One day I had enough and walked away. Wouldn't see him. Hardly would reply back to texts or answer his calls. He was devastated cause I'd NEVER been that way before to him. He took it hard. Finally he realized what it felt like to hurt. We were split for a while. I did my thing and he couldn't stand it. After a long time of trying to convinced he changed I finally gave him another chance. He's not even the same human he used to be. We have been very happy now for a while and getting married next month.

oh god, once a cheat always a cheat!!  why stay? you'll be paranoid all the time you'll lack confidence it'll just go sour and then the arguments will start which then won't be fair around the children. nope sorry I'd leave once is enough for me to prove he doesn't love me. Okay y'all were in a full blown, mutually  understood relationship! He knew it was wrong! He hurt you, knowing that it would hurt you! He didn't care about the risk of losing his family! He stepped out of the home but you think you're breaking up the home? Absolutely not! He made a decision to do him. It is not just the woman's duty alone to maintain the family home! You have to make the best decision for you. If you really feel that it can work and that it is worth the risk, then go for it! You can never say that you didn't fight for your family! I hope that things work out well either way! Make sure that he knows no matter what that this is not something you will tolerate!

Na-ah! Not in all cases. My boyfriend kissed somebody outside of a pub that I was in!! With my “friend” as well! I won’t lie to you it was hard and there were a lot of arguments about it at first and I was very distant from him for about 4 months after it happened, shit I still get worked up about it now 😂. But we both sorted our shit out. (Well, him mainly). That was back in 2013, we’re still together now and have our rainbow baby on the way and things have never been better. So glad he never went back to his old ways and I’m even more glad I gave him a second chance ☺️

It's not always so black and white "once a cheater ways a cheater" is not always true. Things can most definitely be worked on and fixed if you are BOTH dedicated to it. I have expirience with this but me and my bf don't have children, which is even more of a reason to work stuff out.

I would forgive if it was a one night stand. People make choices that aren't the best and no one is perfect. If he told me about it and was actually willing to fix things and it wouldn't happen ever again I'd give it another shot. However if it was an affair and it was going on for a while then no 👎

My ex cheated on me. I got back with him for a while but I didn’t love him. Hell I fucking hated him and treated him like shit after I allowed him back into my life. Eventually I tried to break things off with him. Obviously I didn’t give him any sex at all after he cheated. So I was done with him and just wanted out. I started to fall madly in love with my best friend. I ended up cheating on him (pay backs a mother) with my best friend. Now my best friend is my husband. Been together for 12 plus years and married for 3. I technically didn’t cheat on my ex since I broke up with him. He just didn’t accept that we were done so in his eyes I cheated but i did say we were 100% done.

Currently going through it. It’ll be week 3 tomorrow from when I found out he was cheating. I immediately broke up with him (as I did the first time he cheated; this is the second time) but this time I’m standing firm with my decision. I love him & yes I still talk to him, see him, hang out with him, etc. but he understands that we are NOT in a relationship & I don’t tolerate the cheating. my SO did it when our daughter was 3 months. I don't know if they had Intercourse or anything but he was talking to her behind my back and meeting up with her. I didn't leave him cuz it was the first time but you better believe if he ever does it again or if I get any hint he is I'm done. I refuse to have a life with a cheater.
