Can I choose between to have a vaginal delivery or a C-section?

Hello I'm Sonia! This is my first time everything so I was wondering if I can choose to have a C section instead a vaginal delivery? I really want to have a C section

I dont understand why anyone woukd choose that if it wasnt necessary. Its meant to be an emergency procedure.

A c section is major surgery and has a long recovery time after. You are also more lilely to have complications during the c section not to mention it's more expensive. Most doctors won't do it unless medically necessary.

May I ask your reasoning? I had two c section and wish I could have had them vaginally. 
And I think you only get them in emergent situations but you'd have to confirm with your doc. :/

Why would you want major abdo surgery if its not needed?
If its for a reason like you think your vagina will. be ruined with a natural delivery, then that's kinda silly imo. 
But eh. I'd take natural any day over c-sec.

I really wish I could deliver my baby girl naturally but I’m not allowed. I don’t understand why some ladies just decide that they want a section. This is going to be my 3rd section and the recovery can be bad, you also can’t lift and drive for about 4-6 weeks so have to rely on getting partner/ family to take you everywhere. 
It’s absolutely nuts that women just opt for a section. 🙄

No. Doctors won’t perform a csection just bc you want one. It’s either a necessity due to medical condition or the labor doesn’t progress. It’s a major surgery.

Most doctors will absolutely refuse to do a major surgery with no medical reasoning. Also insurance may not cover it without a medical reason.
