Should an employer be able to fire some for their religious beliefs, when their own religion conflicts with the other?

I'm an atheist. I should have ZERO ability to fire my Christian employee simply for being Christian. Same for someone who is a Muslim, bhudist, Jewish etc etc.  
I should have the ability to fire said person if they harass people, discriminate, or violate company rules. So for example I should have the ability to fire my Christian employee if she refuses service to a gay couple. I should have the ability to fire my employee if they use their religion to avoid doing the job and duties they were hired to do.

If the person is using religious beliefs as a shield to bully/harass another colleague, then yes.

If their religion -literally any religion at all- keeps them from doing the job that they're employed to do, then I believe that's grounds for termiation. If you want to fire someone simply because they don't have the same religion as you, no.

why.can't.people.stay.in.their.own.lanes?! your religious beliefs are applied to YOURSELF....not any other human being. IE if your religious beliefs say no alcohol. ...then YOU don't drink it, don't take away OTHER people's choice to drink it.  your religion doesn't believe in birth control? then YOU don't use it, don't tell OTHERS they can't use it.  there are plenty of things I don't agree with...but I understand there are literally an infinite number of ways to lead a life, that, although I may not *agree* with....doesn't mean it's wrong.

Religion is a non-issue in employment as long as that person's religion does not conflict with the role they are paid to do or prevent them from doing their job

As long as religion isn't impacting work performance then absolutely not. If the requirement is Sunday morning shifts and all of a sudden that person is unavailable because of church then they are no longer filling the requirements and it would be suitable to terminate. 
This is just one general example, obviously there are several ways and different religions that could interfere in the workplace. It would be wrong to fire someone just because of what they believe, that has nothing to do with work.
