When to send off invites?

Ahhh I'm a bit of an early bird and already got my invites for my LO 1st bday party! When do you guys plan on sending your invites?! The wk before or the wk of? I don't wanna send them too early that ppl forget or too late that other plans have already been made

Our son's party is on the 28th of this month, we sent our invites out in the last week of September with a request that RSVPs and regrets be in by the 14th. We wanted plenty of time for people to plan whether or not they could be there, and the RSVPs by the 14th give US enough time to plan for the right amount of people.

I just sent mine today and her birthday is on the 11th of November..

I have told all of the most important people so that I am positive they will be able to attend (my parents/in-laws, our siblings, etc). That way I have the notice out, but don't have to send the invites immediately! I think I'll get them out 3 weeks ahead, maybe even a month.

I just mailed ours out and my daughter’s birthday is at the end of November. It’s a busy time of year for our family’s because of the holidays and other events so we wanted to give ample notice and also request RSVPs so we can plan accordingly.

Our party is on Oct 22nd and I sent them out Sep 29th. I just wanted to get on people’s calendars before they made other plans! I wouldn’t wait until the last minute

I’ve actually never heard of sending them the week before or even the week of! Sometimes mail takes a few days to even arrive, I would err on the side of caution and send them out earlier rather than later. They won’t forget! I’d plan to give at least a few weeks or a month of notice...we will be sending ours next week! 😃
