My dog possibly have worms?

Question

So I have a miniature dachshund and went to go pick up his poop he missed going on his puppy pad this morning. Well there were these in his poop. It has mucous too.. I have no idea if it is worms or if it is what type it could be. I am looking for any possible advice you can give as to which kind and if it looks like it to you until I can go to the vet. 
I am nervous because I have a 9 month old, an 19 month and a three year old and I know things like roundworm can be transferred to humans.
They were not moving in the stool.

I’d bring that sample to the vet and they can test it for parasites. Wouldn’t hurt to find out what it’s from. Better to be safe than sorry.

Tmi but my pup ate a tampon once and it came out looking like that. . Puppy pads are never a good thing either 🤦🏻‍♀️ I wouldn’t be too worried if you give him his heart guard every month as directed . Check again next time he goes and see what it looks like.

I believe if it were worms they would be moving. He more than likely just ate something weird.

I would be very careful. My sisters fiancé dog had worms he got the dog treated but then my sister end up getting worms. Not a good situation  to be in!
