I’ve made my decision
So I previously had posted explaining how I was having a hard time choosing a branch for me to commit to. And also stressing out about what my family will say or do, but now I am extremely proud to say I have picked a branch and by next month I will be taking the ASVAB and going to MEPS. I have officially chosen to enlist into the Marines. Since I am still 17 and not graduated yet, I will be in the Delayed Entry Program until I graduate. Although my grandparents told me that if I joined the Marines that I would be cut off from the family I am still sticking with my decision and I truly believe that they will be mad at first but will eventually come around to the idea of me being in the military.
I know many of you will find this news unimportant but to me it is the most important news of my 17 year life.
Thanks for those of you that took the time to read this
