Mirena and BV

June 2017 I was diagnosed with PCOS. My gyn basically told me that my uterus wasn’t functioning properly due to my PCOS and in order to keep it healthy that I should get the Mirena. I’m not a big fan of birth control due to the fact that in the past BC has caused my hormones to be out of whack. July 2017 against my better judgement I had the Mirena inserted. I have been having Bacteria vaginosis on and off since August. The BV will not completely go away. I’m extremely frustrated. I want to keep my uterus healthy as possible but I’m not sure how much longer I can deal with these infections. Just curious to know if anyone else has had similar issues.
