Has anyone adopted a baby? Please help!

So me & my hubby are wanting to adopt a newborn baby girl! 💜 has anyone ever adopted? What all do you have to do to adopt? Any advice?? If you have a adopted child please show me! I'm so excited! But I know we will have to go through a lot with the adopting process but it'll all be worth it. I also don't want the mom trying to take the baby away from me. Once I adopt I know I'll be attached. I just don't want anything to go wrong.
