My hubby just got a call that they are going to arrest him in a hour. It this a scam.

These calls are ABSOLUTELY a scam. They went around a ton last year and there was something plenty of news coverage about it then.

i work as a 911 police dispatcher and we get calls from people about this all the time. It’s a scam and currently being investigated by the fbi but the number is being routed through different countries so they are having a hard time pinning it down. The IRS will never send you mail about warrants or call you about being arrested, anything like that would be in person. The IRS writes you a letter telling you there is an issue with your taxes and you owe money, they let you know how much and who and how to contact them. They don't just show up at your door demanding ten thousand dollars or you're going to jail.

IRS will never ever call. Should have told them you’d be waiting outside ready to go because your kids were driving you crazy or something
