Naps! Y is it so hard?

How long do your cute, adorable, and loving LOs take naps for? My son is 8 weeks old and it’s hard to put him down to get him to sleep after a feeding. He will not go to sleep on his own. He needs someone to hold him to fall asleep and as soon as we put him down when he’s fallen asleep, he cries and wakes up! Most of the time we have to hold him and walk around the house so he can fall asleep. He won’t even let us sit down when we are holding him.

He is really good at night. We put on white noise and turn off all the lights. After feeding him he goes to sleep right away by himself. But during the day it’s hard to get him to take naps.

Should I do the same as night times during the day? How do your LOs take naps and for how long?
