Induction?

I'm a FTM and just wondering how many have been induced early with GD? I'm diet controlled and for the most part my sugars are within range. At my 37 week US she was measuring at 8lbs 4oz which meant that she gained a pound a week a that point. She is now in the 94th percentile and doctors are still showing no interest in induction. I will be 39 weeks after tomorrow and still no talk of induction. I'm worried as I really want to be able to have her vaginally and not require a c section. If she keeps growing at this rate I'll have a 10-11 lb baby on my hands!! I feel like I'm being annoying by asking about it. Helpppppp
