what should i do?

So needing some advice, was going through fertility treatment recently with a dr who has hyperstimulated me 2 other times even though all previous medical records show i am slow to stimulate and needed low doses.  Well this time he went over again and i ended up in the hospital and had to have surgery to remove my right ovary since it twisted and died. My family and friends say i should sue for medical malpractice. Has this happened to anyone before?

Oh my gosh, how horrible for you, I didn't realise this was a possible risk. I'm going through IVF ATM and my ovaries were hurting alot up to collection, you must of been in agony. I think the 1st part would be to focus on getting yourself feeling better, then have a think about what type of outcome you would be happy with. Perhaps try seeking some advice then writing a well written letter to the clinic owner/manager and see if they offer you anything. If it's not what you had in mind then perhaps go the legal route. It will be quite stressful though. l do wonder how some of these Drs pass their exams. My clinic were alot slower at giving me stims, I had 2 powders for
 one week then 3 for 4 days then went up to 4 for the last week. I thought they were being a bit slow with it all but I   understand why now. I wish you all the best in the future, do what's best for your own well being x
