Do poops keep your baby up?

My son will stay awake/won’t go to sleep for an hour or so if he has to poop..
Kid you not, he just woke up at 3 am, stayed awake till 4:10 am, shit, and I’m rocking to sleep now. He does this ALL the time, usually at nap time or before bed. 🙈🙈

no.. our daughter has a set pattern actually.  and with the exception of one time when she had diarrhea,  around 3 months old, she's always pooped in the morning,  30 minutes or so after her solid breakfast and again around 4-5 pm, after her solid lunch. she hasn't ever poop at night,  nor waited for it..

It happens to us occasionally! Usually my guy is very regular. He goes after every meal and sometimes after his snack. So since I feed him right after he wakes up in the morning and after nap times, it's usually not an issue. But occasionally he'll fuss for a while at nap time and I'll be wondering why the heck he's not sleeping, and when I go in to check on him I'm like oh it's poop. Hahaha

My daughter will wake up early from naps if she has pooped, and it’s just annoying cause I know she doesn’t mean to be up early from napping. But she cannot just sit in her poop 😂she’s so weird about it. Typically, she’s pretty regular about pooping and it’s usually when she’s awake. So I worry she will wake up early from a nap if she hasn’t pooped yet.

I think they may wake my LG up - at least when she wakes up early for her afternoon nap there’s usually a poop in her diaper
