when to test

so my hubby & I have been trying to have a baby for about a year now. we've lost 2 babes on the process.. my body recently is starting to feel pregnant. my breasts are swelling, a little sore from time to time, & I've had random sickness. my period is due in 4 days.. is it too soon to test? or when should I test.. I'm just getting excited i guess.. if I am pregnant this time.. I'm going to wait to tell hubby, i dont think he can handle any other loss..
