40 weeks 6 days

so at 39 weeks i had intense contractions thought for sure i was having baby or it was the start. well the dwindle off. i meet my midwife for my 40 week appointment we talk about doing a sweep at 41 weeks and she assures me i wont go to 42 weeks. so at 12:30am mon my test syrips for amniotic fluid are pos. i go to sleep knowing ill start having contractions soon. wake up call my midwife and my mom. midwife says she is busy with a buffalo birth no biggy. my mom comes we walk we hang out she leaves at 5:30pm as nothing is happening. Midwife says to take caster oil shake. Contractions start at 11pm theyre intense awful but barely wake me this is it im sure. they slow by orning. midwife says my water didnt fully leak and resealed. so were back to waiting im sooo over this sooooo over it. my first was 39 weeks my second was 38 weeks. she said its normal to go this this long with natural. but now im afraid i wont get my home birth.
