anyone else's baby can't bring them self to sit?

is there any other baby that won't? i'm starting to get really worried about it... she acts like she wants to crawl but that's it:.. she won't try and take steps or anything either. already talked to our ped and she just said to give her another month and if she's still not atleast sitting up, then i need to call her

My son sits, but can't get himself into the sitting position.. he doesn't crawl, but he sure wants to move!!! He tries to scoot but gets frustrated. I saw him *once* pull himself up to a half standing position, but that was s couple of weeks ago and I haven't seen him try since then.

Just give your little one time!  Once your kiddo starts pulling up in things she may start walking a day later, where as my son may start pulling up on things and not start walking for two weeks.  Our babies will reach these milestones when they are good and ready, I do not think you have anything to worry about.

My son army crawls and pulls up but isnt quite steady of his feet yet. Tonight, he got up on all 4s and tried to crawl but didnt get very far. He rolls from back to tummy and tummy ro back really well but he cant bring himself up to sitting position on his own just yet. I think its still too early for that. I dont remember when my daughter started doing it but it definitely wasnt at 8 months old.

Our pediatrician said that our daughter needs to work on her core strength.  We work on it by touching her toes to her nose which she finds hilarious.

Just make sure you're doing lots of floor play time and use toys to encourage your little one to use their core. One day it will just happen. I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm confused. Can your baby not sit at all or just not go from like tummy time to sitting up? Because my Baby can't do that either.

Mine😭 he can sit but cant make himself sit. He can stand but doesnt even think of crawling😭

My son can crawl, sit on his own and walk along the furniture but if he's on his back he cannot pull himself up to sit. It's so odd to me 😂 He was able to achieve his other milestones so I'm not too worried about it.
