Would you allow your teenage daughter to have a sleep over with her boyfriend?

If your daughter wanted to have a sleep over with her boyfriend as a teenager, would you allow it? No rude or sarcastic comments. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just always wondered the reasons why everyone seems against it

It all depends on her age.

If she is 18 or over, then I would absolutely allow it. If she is still a CHILD living under my roof, it is my job as a parent to protect my child and tell her where I stand on the subjects. Although I will educate my daughter about sex, I will also let her know that I do not condone having sex until she is an adult. That means I could not condone a boy sleeping at my house or anybody else's house… Sleeping with boys is for adults. A 16-year-old is not an adult, she is still a child. I might allow the boy to sleep in a different room, but even that is iffy, I would have to really trust them both. Which means that they would really have to both show a very sufficient level of maturity and trustworthiness.

no because that is something a grown woman does not a child, even an older child still living at home with mom and dad. when you are old enough to pay your own bills, work, vote, etc than you can have the privilege that comes with being a grown up but until then I see no reason what so ever to let a teenager spend the night at their bfs house. why should my husband and I worry and not sleep all night just so our teen can play grown up. if you have to ask permission then the answer is no these are things you will be allowed to do when you have your own place. that being said if there was a reason my adult child had to come back home then I'm sure exceptions would be made.

Yeah no. I know what kind of things my daughter would do. Like I was just a teenager just a few years ago. My husband and I were..uh quite the teenagers when we were alone. Maybe when she's 18. Or 21. Or married. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It depends on the age. But if she is 16 or over I would definitely let her (of course I would say no if I didn’t like the boy though and felt like he would use her only for sex etc.). What they can do at night they can do during the day, too 🙈 
I hope that if I have a daughter some day, we will have a good relationship with communication and trust, so she would feel comfortable telling me everything.

If shes a minor then NO. No reason to be sleeping over at a boyfriends house if youre still a child. No need to have sex as a minor either and I wont be encouraging it by letting my kid sleep over.

No. My boyfriend and I already found a million places to have sex when I was 15 so I wouldn’t help my daughter get laid. (Yes I know 15 is young to have sex, judging me now won’t change that it happened)
