Bleeding help.. TMI

So I started AF last night and when I first have a sign of af I take a tablet Called Transexemic acid which helps with my periods not being so heavy. It’s pretty much my life saver.

So I did the usual and took it. Took it this morning as well and usually it helps to keep things steady and normal. But I am bleeding/ soaking through a pad every 10/20 mins. Heavy periods have always been the norm for me but the tablets don’t seem to be working like they usually do. They pretty much turn down the flow and say “ hey you don’t have to be a waterfall right now, chill”.

I am afraid of going into the drs and them turning me away saying it’s just a period get over it.. which has happened many times before.

I’m just concerned as to that my usual medicine helps by now and this time it’s not.

Should I wait it out? Or go seek medical advice to see if i need a strong dose?
