How do you know EXACTLY when you ovulated??

Question

So I see so many women on here say they are 8 dpo or 9 dpo.....and I’m wondering how you know exactly what day you ovulated?? We do the OPKs but once I find my surge I just know 24-36 hours I should ovulate?? So not a definite just a guesstimate.

I feel it after 4 years of trying for my first i got pretty in tune with my body  , even mum said she feels it she always thought it was af  but hasn't had it for 3 years thought she has been thru change of life etc had some scans and low and behold she had ovulated that month lol she was on complete shock most tho go off opks or body temp

basal body temping is the only way to be sure. it will spike 12-24 hours after you’ve ovulated!

Bbt is the only way to pinpoint it aside from actually seeing it on ultrasound
