HOW PAINFUL WAS IT? Miscarriages Naturally

***UPDATE.
I ended up having a naturally miscarriage at home. I delivered the yolk sac and started bleeding a lot  with huge clots. I ended up going to the Er bcus I was still having full blown contractions after I delivered the sac(which was the size of a golf ball) the doctors helped me deliver the rest. Ladies this was FULL Blown contractions, I got a small dose of Morpheme and it helped a lot. When it was done the doctor processed with taking the rest of the residue from inside me. Painful but as sad at this entire experience is I am truly proud of myself. I kept telling myself that I wanted to miscarriage at home for my self and kind out wanted to feel the pain of not having my baby with me. I am proud for taking the pain. I will always love and remember my baby, I am relieved to finally let my baby Rest In Peace. Thank you ladies for all the replies. We are truly amazing human beings and we deserve all the love and appreciation In the world. 
Hello ladies, I am supposed to be 11 weeks pregnant but my baby past away at 8 weeks. 
I am schedule for a d&c; In 4 days but I am thinking about the natural miscarriage, however I have very low tolerance for pain and I am actually now terrified of miscarriagimg naturally before the day arrives. I currently have horrible back pains. Also the thing that scares me is that I am anemic and I am scare or losing a lot of blood while I am passing the tissues and sac.
Any ladies that miscarriage naturally on here? If so, was the pain horrible ? 
What should I do ? 😞how long does the pain last? The other thing that scares me is that I’ve been home alone the entire day until hubby gets home around 6PM. I’m scared to be home alone if it starts to happen. Where you home alone ? Did you do okay alone ?

I had fill blown labor pain. lost total control of my bodily functions(the ones that produce fluids) during my natural miscarriage.it was painful,but I was able to handle it. I took several warm Epson salt baths. those relieved my back pain.

I had a natural miscarriage and regret every second of it. If I could go back I would opt for the d&c; in a heartbeat. The pain wasn’t too bad. I would have been 11 weeks but the baby had stopped growing around 5. When I miscarried I had contractions and heavier bleeding but nothing that wasn’t tolerable. I was actually at work when it happened. The reason I regret doing the natural route is because it was torture for me. Every time I went to the bathroom I was flushing down the toilet pieces of what was supposed to be my pregnancy - my baby  And this went on for weeks. Mentally and emotionally that wrecked me every single time. The guilt I feel is tremendous. Also it took my body weeks for it to rid itself of everything. It dragged on and personally for me that has made my recovery so much worse. This is just my experience. But I wish someone would have opened my eyes to this side of a natural miscarriage when I was weighing my options. I thought I was doing something better for my body and in the end I think it made everything worse. I’m sorry that this even has to be a discussion for you. My heart goes out to you and you are in my thoughts!

I didn't have a natural, I was given a pill to start it and hydrocodone for the pain and it was still pretty bad. I can't imagine how bad it would have been without the medication

I had a miscarriage at 14 weeks. The contractions were quite painful. They lasted for about an hour. I remember thinking that I didn't know if I could handle 24 hours of labor. But my son was small so once I was dilated enough for him to fit through my cervix the pain was gone. 
My husband was with me but he had to go lay down because he was ready to faint. It all happened so fast for us because we had no idea anything was amiss. 
I ended up going to the ER because I never delivered the placenta. So, they did a d&c; minus the d since I was already dilated. I needed general anesthesia because I had eaten recently and thrown up. That caused me to have a sore throats for a couple days. 
My sister-in-law had a natural miscarriage at the hospital. She waited until her labor started then headed in. Is that an option for you? Regardless of what you choose, I am very sorry for your loss.

It was painful. But for me it was a way to deal with the emotional pain and experiencing it, if that makes sense. It lasted about three days.

I've had two natural miscarriages. One at 12 weeks and one at 5 weeks. The one at 12 weeks was really awful. I lost so much blood at once that I literally blacked out on the toilet and couldn't see or hear my husband for a good 30 seconds. It doesn't sound like a long time but it was terrifying. I was constantly shaking and vomiting from the pain. (I have a low pain tolerance too) 
I actually ended up in the ER because of my blackout and they gave me morphine which helped immensely. The contractions come and go like in labor and lasted 48 hours for me. After the actual loss and passing tissue/ clots I bled for two weeks straight (you can only use a pad during this time) and 5 weeks later my period came back. 
I am so sorry for your loss. For me, I'm glad it was natural because while I was grieving the loss, I was able to understand everything my body was doing. 
If you'd prefer to wait for it to go natural and your doctor says it's safe then do that. Going into surgery feels so clinical and it would have made it harder for me to emotionally heal. 
The most important thing is that you're safe and talk to your doctor about your emotional well being in addition to your physical.

Mine started with severe back pain wednesday evening. I had pelvic pressure, lower back pain & cramps in my stomach for several hrs into the night. I passed a big clot at 3am & the pain eased up some. Then at 8am I passed another large clot & the pain was then tolerable. It did keep me up most of the night as I couldn't get comfortable. I had pelvic pressure & lower back pain throughout the next day. I do have a high tolerance for pain but I'd say the worse lasted about  12hrs. Im still bleeding but its like a period at this point also with cramping. I hope this helped. Sorry for your loss!

I miscarried in July with my first and I would choose the D&C; again. For me the procedure although emotionally horrible physically was easy. Best of luck to you!
