Gassy baby because of overactive letdown

Did anyone deal with a gassy and fussy baby due to overactive letdown? We saw a Lactation Consultant and she said the fast flow of my breast milk is what probably makes her gassy and fussy and that she will outgrow his stage and get used to the fast flow, so keep doing what im doing and wait it out. My baby is 4weeks old and I was wondering if any of you dealt with this and did anything help with the gas? We tried gripe water, but it doesn’t seem to do much. We are gonna try simethicone too and see if that works.
