Does your Bible have this name too?

I was reading the Bible (KJV) and i was in Psalm 83:18 and it said Jehovah. I started investigating and I found out that that name is mentioned more than once like in Isaiah 12:2; 26:4, Exodus 6:3, etc. Does your Bible say this too?

Yes, and it's normal. He is referred to as many different names, including Jehovah, Yahweh (sp?), God, etc.

As a matter of fact Jehovah appears in the original manuscripts of the Bible more than 7000 times!
unfortunately many modern translations have replaced with titles such as GOD or LORD in all caps.
For a translation that has kept God's name Jehovah in all 7000 places try the New World Translation.

Jehovah is the English transliteration of YHWH (pronounced Yahweh, Yahuah, Yehovah, etc.)
It is God's name. Wherever you see LORD in the Bible, it's supposed to be YHWH. (Lord/lord translates to Adonai, and God = Elohim.)

So my scholar friend responded today: Jahovah is the German pronunciation of Yahweh. So it's the same name/word just a different way to pronounce it. English is heavily effected by German and other European languages so it's pretty normal.

Yes that is normal.. He is refored to as Johova, Jehovah jirah and many others..

Jehovah is the same name as Yahweh, for some reason different translations choose to use it in a few places. It's like translating gato into car or feline or domestic cat. I can ask my Hebrew scholar friend though if there is any particular reason.
