Advice needed

I teach 7th grade Language Arts. I love what I do, but my job is currently 45 minutes away from home. I’d love to find a job closer to home, but we’re currently TTC, and I am tenured at my current school. I know legally a school cannot ask me not to return because of pregnancy, but I know if I’m not tenured it’s an issue, which is why I am trying to conceive now so that I can have a summer baby and look for jobs else where and not have to wait until I am tenured somewhere else to try. We’re not on the last month of trying where it would work, and it hasn’t happened for us yet. Am I completely crazy for wanting to continuing to try and just seeing if any school districts will hire a pregnant woman? I don’t want to put my hopes for extending my family on hold. Any teachers experience anything like this??
