Took it this morning and thought I saw a faint line and then my period started today? Is it a bad test?

How many dpo are you? I am bleeding and spotting and am very much pregnant. Dr did an ultrasound and we were barely able to make out the sack but it was there! Took these tests today. Doctor says it’s normal but they of course are keeping an extra close eye on me. I am only 4 weeks. AF was supposed to start yesterday but I started spotting Saturday. Nothing Sunday and spotting again yesterday and today. If I wouldn’t of tested I would have just thought it was AF and wouldn’t have even known I was pregnant

I see a line, but if you started your period then I wouldn't trust the validity of your test.

Yes. If you started your period. More likely you are out for this month :(
