Pregnancy Loss

I am broken.

Today, my fiancé and I were so excited because this scan at 9 weeks 6 days we'd finally be able to see limbs and something resembling a baby.

But the doctor couldn't find a heartbeat and the baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks 3 days.

Cue the uncontrollable crying.

This is my first pregnancy ever, carefully planned and hoped for. To have it end in a loss.. we are devastated.

We have a confirmation scan tomorrow at 1:30 but I don't just want my heart broken all over again..
