Well, that was fun (sarcasm)
Went for my weekly OB appt yesterday at 10:45 with this respiratory crap that severely hinders my breathing. My OB wants to send me to labor and delivery to have my stats monitored and baby as well. Calls up there and it’s too busy so I get to go to ER to be monitored there—that was a pointless 2+ hours as they did no tests and didn’t even check on baby. Go back to OB and tell them my breathing is worse (or my hubby tells them cuz I can’t talk at all) and I am having a sharp stabbing pain to the left of my belly button. They are able to get me up to L&D.; I get hooked up to monitors and find out I’m contracting every three minutes and the sharp pain I feel is the peak of the contraction. I get checked but I am high and long. Sit there for a few hours and get checked again to see if I’ve progressed and nope. They think the closeness of the contractions are brought on by my respiratory distress so I get a nebulizer and some ice chips. Then, since I’m not progressing and baby’s heart rate looks good, I get sent home. I was up all night with contractions and breathing issues that have continued today. And I’ll get to do an NST tomorrow to see how he’s doing in there. Ready for the baby drama to be done and hope that I can start taking medicine for this respiratory crap.
