Arsenic and lead in baby food and formula?

Did anyone else see this article about arsenic and lead found in baby food and formula?

This sounds outrageous! Is anyone else concerned?

I just looked it up. Super scary!! I’ve always been weary of formula and baby food but there needs to be safe alternatives for mothers who can’t breastfeed! It’s ridiculous how formula isn’t monitored more closely.

when my first started the cereal she started vomiting and when I'd look at her shed look dizzy and out of it, I started looking into it and found out about the arsenic and never gave it to her again, don't knw if that was the issue but it stopped when I stopped giving it to her

I did see that, if I fed my baby actually baby food I would be concerned. I believe it! If you read the "allowable" ratios put out by the FDA of this crap in baby food, you would be shocked. I make our baby food from scratch with a baby bullet, it's super easy and I know what goes in his tummy.
