When should i take clomid??

Dr told me he recommends 5-9 but i could do 3-7 if i wish. I’m considering 3-7 so i can ovulate earlier because my husband is going out of town on cycle day 18 and it’s going to be cutting it close!!! Would there be any reason NOT to do 3-7?

I did 3-7. I’ve always ovulated on my own but weren’t getting pregnant. Clomid always worked each round. Ovulated between 14-16. Got pregnant round one. Miscarriage. Then Ectopic. Now healthy pregnancy going on 14weeks with a baby boy. Praying this rainbow is the one.

I took my first round d3-d7 as recommended by dr. Have appointment tomorrow on d12. Fingers crossed it works at 1st round
