Is this weird?

I went to see my boyfriend over the weekend and for some reason my mom kept calling me and her and my dad have been basically trying to control my life. I’m 18 but still I feel like I should be able to make my own decisions. My boyfriend is much older no judging but he’s 33. When I was with him and my mom kept calling he kept asking why and she was basically calling me about something she could have text me about and I had talked to her earlier that day anyway and I told her that I was with a friend (she doesn’t know about my boyfriend). Anyways he kept saying that he didn’t understand why she was doing that and that he didn’t ever tell his dad about who he was sleeping with or basically any little detail about his life. Another thing my mom keeps telling me is that I shouldn’t be having sex however I’ve her that it’s my body and I can what I want with it then she said that if I got an std or got pregnant then her and my dad would have to pay for it. I told my boyfriend this and he said that’s not true unless you got on someone else’s insurance then said it would only cost him $5 a month extra to put me on his insurance.
