Baby's first steps to full on walking!?

My daughter is 9 months old and she took her first steps the day before Halloween (she took like four all at once) and since then she's only taken a few steps here or there. I've been letting her figure it out herself and sometimes holding her hands and walking with her, and I was wondering how long babies usually take to start being more confident with walking? Do you think she'll be walking by thanksgiving? I'm sure it varies a lot for everyone but I'm just curious how other babies did! Should I continue to practice with her & entice with toys? Or just let her explore on her own. She's been crushing furniture for a few months now!

When my son was little about 5-6 months I would take him by his armpits and fast walk around the house, he thought it was hilarious and would be laughing super hard. When he was 8 month maybe he took 4 steps by himself and would try so hard to do more. It probably took him a week and a half to walk from one end of the living room to the other. And about 2 weeks after that he was walking all over the place. Then about 5 months after that he was running everywhere.

i would let her figure it out on her own, maybe certain toys ( the one they old the handle and the balls pop as they walk) would entice her but i.dont know how much you want to.rush her, best to let her.figure it out

My son took his first steps the day he turned 11 months (aug 16) and was full on walking all the time before halloween. So two months or so. I'm sure it's different for every kid though. Congrats on baby's first steps!
