Braxton Hicks question

I never experienced Braxton Hicks with my first pregnancy and I also had back labor. I am currently 23weeks pregnant and have an anterior placenta so I am expecting back labor again. For those of you who have had BH, when did they start? I just had major pain on only the right side of my back that felt like a muscle spasm and at the same time the baby started moving and kicking like crazy in that area. It lasted about 5 mins and has now faded away. I was laying in bed when it happened, so I don't think it's a normal muscle spasm. I'm wondering if it's BH since I've always felt contractions in my back before. All I know is I hope it doesn't happen again, that hurt!
