Help 😕

Hey , so since my family found out im expecting ...theyve been great. ( currently 16 weeks ) My mum is excited and helps me when I have questions or if I want help picking out things I like. However my dad seems to be getting a little too involved. He's made spreadsheets of things me and my partner will need and emailed them to us ( including TMI items ) he regularly sends my partner emails with detailed lists of things he needs to do or work towards. And to top it off..... he just randomly bought us a pram, buggy and car seat. Non of it is my style , the set is for a baby boy (we dont know the sex ) and I knew nothing about it til it turned up yesterday!!! Along with four boxes of clothes. I really dont want to sound ungrateful but its too much and I feel picking my first pram etc is a personal thing! Or it is to me anyway..... So I messaged him and said thank you and that it was thoughtful etc but that I had already picked out one of my own and preordered it. He still hasnt replied and now I'm wondering, am I being selfish? Be honest and let me know how you'd feel.... I personally feel too smothered and I think my partner is feeling like my dad is stepping on his toes. s.o.s x x x
