I asked my fiancé how he felt about women that leave men when their PTSD gets so bad the woman can’t handle it. He said, “men don’t leave women when they act bat shit crazy once a month so I don’t see why a woman would leave a guy when he’s going through stuff.” I replied, “did you really just compare PTSD to PMS?” “Yeah I did. Women act like bitches and we [men] have to put up with it. But as soon as things get a little rough they wanna leave. It’s bullshit.”

I swear I almost jumped out of the moving car when he said that.
