I've been dating a guy for almost a month (next Friday) and today he said he loved me. I've had some things happen in the past and I'm a firm believer that the word 'love' is thrown around like it's going out of style. I don't know how to tell him how I feel about this without feeling really awkward and like a bitch. I'd love it if y'all could help me!❤

My bf told me he loved me after about a month and a half of dating and months later I still never doubt that he really does move me.
I've been through some bad relationships too, but the people you were with and the relationships you had with them are not the same as the one you have now.
I think just tell him you're not ready to say it back yet, and that you'll say it when you're ready as you don't want to just throw the word out without meaning it. That way it's focusing on your feelings rather than just stating the word love is thrown around without meaning, as I think if someone said that to me I'd feel upset and like they don't believe me and I'd feel embarrassed for saying it in the first place.
