I have no idea....

My last normal period was in April on the 3rd to the 8th. I had skipped it in March, but that was a first. I'm normally very regular. After April I went 5 months without a period. My doc put me on Metformin and I started bleeding again. I bled for about 3 weeks or so and stopped taking the Metformin. Now I have strong cramps on my left side, but not quite like period cramps. My nipples are also very sore to the touch. I gag at everything. Smells make me nauseous. My 3 week long bleeding ended about a week, maybe 2 weeks ago. Could these be signs that I'm pregnant? I have been having sex with my husband without protection. When should I take a test??
