Shorter period??naproxen

Usually I have intense cramping and heavy bleeding (period on avg lasts 5 days) and take one naproxen for my whole period, this time I took two 500mg naproxen in one hour on the first day . Now my period was super light on the 3rd day and pretty much nonexistent on the 4th day! Anyone else experience this I’m confused.

Any nsaids (which naproxen is one) can reduce menstrual bleeding. When I use to have heavy periods my doctor recommended taking ibuprofen to help lessen blood flow.

I started taking naproxen on the 8th October because I’ve had strong head pain and dizziness for two weeks,got my period on the 10th October and had one day of heavy bleeding, day two small bit of spotting and today day three absolutely nothing. Am confused because my period of normally 5-7 days

I used to take naproxen for migraines along with another rx. If you’re pregnant or think you should be you should not be taking naproxen...if that’s what you’re asking.  Naproxen doesn’t shorten your period.
