School district or the school

I don't know if this is a controversy type thing but I don't know what to do and this site gives more opinions than any of them so I figured I'd post here.

I live next to an elementary school and I've had times where coming up to a stop sign kids wouldn't look for cars they just walk straight across the street. Today I didn't even come to a complete stop before two little kids started crossing the street without even looking to see if a car was coming! it's happened a few times and it's quite frustrating because one day a child is gonna get hurt and it scares me!

It's not the school my son goes to but I know that if it I was that parent and I didn't know my child was crossing the street without looking first I would want to know.

so I didn't know if should I get a hold of the school district or the school itself and let them know they should do some kind of meeting with the parents and kids to confront them about it.

What would you do?
