Teen mom/2 fans! Do you think these women are good mothers?

I had fun reading the comments on the other teen mom post so thought we could get opinions on all the moms

Mostly, yes. Chelsea and Maci are both fabulous mothers and definitely have themselves the most together, but they also came from the most stable home lives and had the most family support. 
Catelynn has had her struggles, but I think I’ll always be rooting for her an Tyler. Save for Tyler’s mother those kids are dealt some shitty hands in life and I think they’ve done so well to rise above it. They’re just so sweet and genuine. I think they made a great choice for Carley and are doing a good job with Nova. 
I think Leah and Amber have both come a long way and are doing well. They both truly love and want the best for their kids. 
Brianna I’m indifferent to. I think she lets her mom and sister influence her too much, but she seems like a good mom. 
Kailyn seems rough as a person, but she seems like a really good mom. I swear I would have a kid if I could have one just like Issac. 
I think Jenelle treats her kids like crap and is just selfish. She puts them in situations they should not be in to serve her own needs.
Farrah...lord. I just feel sorry for Sophia growing up in that fucked up family and I look forward to her tell all. I’ll read the shit out of that book. 
So about me being too invested in this show...😂

I only watch Teen Mom 2 so cant comment on the OGs. Disclaimer that you can’t really tell anything through reality tv and they might all be better than theyre portrayed, just my observations not trying to be mean. I think Chelsea is a great mom and her and Cole are the absolute cutest. Having watched her from 16 and pregnant though it’s very obvious that she had super supportive upper-middle class parents who helped her out as much as she needed. Not that there’s anything wrong with that but it sure gave her an edge on the other three. I feel really bad for Leah since she has obviously had some struggles and having a special needs child is tough. She’s an ok mom I guess. I used to think Kailyn was a really good mom and I guess she’s ok but she has seemed to have a lot of anger problems lately. And everything that went down with her and Javi is weird. I think enough has been said about Jenelle lol but I don’t think she’s a good mom and I think she can’t handle Kaiser’s behaviour. I skip over Brianas scenes because I find her boring.

I️ love Chelsea and her dad’s relationship. They are the greatest. 
I️ love love love Maci as well she is really good.
Janelle is just...... we could go there with her.
Briana I️ cannot stand her and her mom is the worst I’ve ever seen.
Amber needs to get her shit all the way together.
Farrah is almost as bad as Janelle she let Sophia argue with Nicki Minaj on social media and talking shit to a grown ass woman. Who TF does that?!? 🤬

My favorites are Maci and Chelsea, and then probably Caitlyn and Leah (now, not before). They've always seemed to be the ones who actually put their kids first and worried about growing up and getting their lives together for them. Obviously Amber and Janelle have the drug and anger issues (though amber seems to be doing good now), Farrah is a wack job, and Kailyn is super selfish (doesn't go her way, she throws a fit and/or leaves).

Love maci kayleen and Chelsea. 
Leah is super trashy, not a huge fan of amber her life is always a little off/weird, and janelle is pretty messed up from her own mother I think and Farrah is the biggest self absorbed bitch. Caitlin I’m up in the air about and this new girl Brianna I LOVE. Such a great role model The way she said peace and stuck to I️t when She got cheated on and she does so much for her girls she’s pretty much awesome from what I’ve seen.

I like Caitlin, Chelsea, and Maci the most. Caitlin has her issues but I will always root for her. Same with Kail, even though she has made some bad decisions lately. They both have had rough lives with very little support and guidance from family, so I really feel for them. Anyone remember Kail’s POS mom from the first seasons? Yikes. Kail was always just looking for someone to love her IMO.

You have to take these shows with a grain of salt.. it’s reality TV and I don’t perceive these girls to be exactly how they are portrayed at times. I think they all have good parenting moments and bad ones... all different styles, they come from different back grounds, have different obstacles, different support systems. How can we judge them as good or bad parents without walking in their actual foot steps everyday? 
I personally can’t stand Chelsea and Maci(who everyone seems to love)... not because they are bad mothers exactly but something always feels fake and forced to me when I watch them. I am always rooting for the ones who are trying to overcome the adversities they have. I think Janelle has come a long way.. shes not perfect and makes questionable choices at times but I’m always hoping the best for her and her family. Same goes for Amber. I get the sense that Caitlin is a bit lazy... this may be part of her struggles with depression and anxiety but I feel like she has every opportunity now to do something with herself/life and she’s wasting it. Oh and that episode where her daughter was playing with her own poop in her room made me cringe like no other eeek! I often feel bad for Leah because she’s pretty much alone... I cant imagine how it feels to be divorced twice and have three kids at such a young age. She appears to be making it work the best she can though... She seemed to be struggling a while back but she got help and is striving for better. She seems very focused on her girls. Farrah is...Farrah lol. I think she’s the product of an extremely dysfunctional family. I think she’s a good mother for the most part but she is keeping the cycle of dysfunction going... she will pass it all right onto Sophia-it’s a hard cycle to break.  I can’t stand Kailyn.... I take her as being selfish, needy, controlling.... but a lot of that may stem from the lack of family support in her life. I think she’s a good mom but the drama she creates for herself has to be stressful on them. I totally feel like her boys will be asking to live with their dads as they get older. But she’s hard working, dedicated, determined, provides them with love and all the necessities. That Briana girl I just can’t watch because she’s a bit bored....her sister makes me laugh though.
