Have you ever been shamed for your choice in menstrual product?
Hear me out before you’re like “wow this is stupid”. This is something I️ have been researching on for the past month. As you may know, I️ admin/mod a million-user women’s related sub. Recently I️ have noticed an influx of “pad shaming” or “tampon shaming” or “cup shaming” complaints on the forum. Because I️ am not good at describing it, I️ will post these instead to try and illustrate the gist of what I️ see (ignore the search, I️ needed a way to get those who felt shamed into one screenshot and that was the one that did it):

Because this is so interesting to me, I’ve been looking it up on here. And sure enough, there does appear to be some... product shaming? on this forum that aligns with the above examples, so I️ want to ask: have you ever felt like you were being shamed for usage of a certain product? For example, were you called dirty or made to feel immature because you used pads or called “too grown up” and a slut because you used tampons? You can expand on this discussion however you want. I️ just find it so fascinating.
