Life After Gallbladder Removal?

I just had my gallbladder removed four days ago. I just wanted to know did anyone’s lives change after having it removed? Did you always have diarrhea? Could no longer have a regular diet? I just want to know any possibilities I should expect.

I had mine removed 3 days ago and I was told to stay away from anything fatty or greasy for a little and then gradually get my body use to it again. Both my parents had it removed a few years ago and they eat anything they want honestly lol. But take it slow for now & your body will get use to not having it.

I had mine removed about 5 years ago. If I eat processed food like sausages or slot of meat then I am on the toilet within 30 minutes of eating it. Eggs also affect me. So I try to avoid these foods. As long as you avoid certain foods then you won’t have diaherra

Think I had a little bit of diarrhea but I’m not too sure I had my gallbladder removed five years ago you can have a regular diet but they say to have a low-fat diet because the gallbladder was the fat catcher and if you’re just eating fatty stuff it’s just going to go to your stomach and you gain weight
