My boyfriend says he won't trust anyone fully, ever. Maybe 90% but never 100%. He says that he "knows how people are" and that it's illogical to ever fully trust a human being, including me. I've never done anything to him to make him not trust me. It just hurts that he won't open up to me entirely nor anyone else. I've never done anything to him to make him feel this way but according to him, "a lot of men and women can't be trusted in relationships." Because that's the only experience he has ever had and witnessed. He isn't controlling and he doesn't look through my things or show any indication that he's suspicious of me... it just sucks that he feels this way and I wonder if he always will. Does anyone else feel like he does? Is it normal to feel like that?
