Should you have the same days off as your lover ?

Some people think it is important when living with your significant other to at least try to have the same days off , to spend together . Some don’t , what do you think ????

I’m in college with my boyfriend who is also in college and works.
We spend one day of the week together and we call every night. I have alone time and social time with other friends and I focus on school for the whole week until the day we see each other. When that day comes, we study, watch a movie, cuddle, go out, etc. We’ve been doing it for a few months and I can say that it’s amazing.
Trust me when I say you should have a day or at least some time in the day where your time can solely focus on your relationship. It doesn’t have to be every break you have.

While it's important to have some time put away to spend with your partner, it's also very important to have your own life away from your partner as well. Working in the restaurant industry i find a lot of couples that work together and live together, so they try to sync up their schedules, but then they never get any alone time and it effects them. If it's the case of you work different jobs and your days off are the only time you do get to see each other, then absolutely

me and my boyfriend will spend 3 months together non stop then 1 day after 3 months not talk for a full day and it actually brings us closer, his idea was when he was with his old partners they would talk 24/7 all year long and got bored of each other and i'm really happy he wants to try to keep us together forever and it works
