Has anyone else been switched from a combination pill to a PPO because of migraine auras?

I got switched to a PPO because I have experienced migraine auras which can lead to stroke if on a combination pill. I’m curious to see how many others are affected by this.

yes. I was on combo pills but they switched me to progesterone only. I have migraines with aura and taking estrogen can increase your risk for a stroke. progesterone only methods include mini pills, depo shot, implant, and iuds both hormonal and non hormonal iuds. in case you ever want to switch from pills there are other estrogen free options.

I was affected by this ! It was really bad I would throw up almost every other morning bc of migraines . So what I did was stop taking birth control over all .

Yes omg I had this. Every time i take the normal pill i see all these zig zags then my vision is so blurry then i feel sick with the worst headache. i went to mini pill and i bled for 3 mths straight. it sucks. i cant take either!
