Physician assisted suicide could you watch the person you love die

Leave it to me to choose a chick flick for the night and it ended being about a woman who fell in love with a guy who was disabled and severely in pain and chose to end his life after 6 months via physician assisted suicide.

He asked her to be there by his side and at first she said it was selfish because he was hurting her by killing himself.

Later she decided she would be there to at least give him the love he needed until it was time.

So I’m asking you if it were the person you loved or even your child (an adult) could you be there in that moment to support them ending their life?

I personally would but I’d be a hot mess since I’m a giant crybaby and can’t help it. I would have to warm up to the idea of no longer having them in my life in the beginning though.
