Please HELP! Bleeding, twelve weeks pregnant.

(Sorry this a repost from general pregnancy, but I thought it might be better here) So this is my second pregnancy, my first I miscarried very early, around 5 weeks. Yesterday was twelve weeks exactly and at around 10 am (yesterday) I noticed just a little light pink discharge, so I wasn't panicked, but decided better safe than sorry and went to the ER. They took my blood and did the absolute most painful pelvic exam I have ever had in my life and did an ultra sound. Everything looked fine, baby's heart was beating at 150, she was moving around and the pelvic looked fine, he said I was not actively bleeding, I didn't see anymore spotting when I went to the bathroom so we left. Not even an hour later at lunch I go to the bathroom and there was much more there when I wiped and it didn't seem like discharge, more like brassy blood. I called my actual doctor and she said as long as I'm not in pain and it's not bright red blood it should be fine, but now it's the next day and still hasn't really let up. I am FREAKING out. Every time I go to the bathroom I am just waiting for a rush of bright red blood. It just feels like a cruel joke, all along I've been saying once I hit twelve weeks I can relax and then this happens. I would REALLY appreciate any insight, anyone this has happened to, etc.
