Diaper Subscription

Has anyone done a diaper subscription for the first year? I know honest.com offers them and so do diapers.com. Looking tk find out the pros and cons and any advice from someone who has done it. Have a family that wants to gift us this and are wondering which one to do or if they should just give us money or a gift card. I feel like if a subscription is good, it would be nice to not have to worry about diapers and wipes all the time - but want to know feedback from those who have done it.
